This is the first look at the plans that Play has! Pok\u00e9mon for the upcoming season and the processes that will have the qualifiers of the next Pok\u00e9mon World Championships 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Planning is underway for the upcoming 2021 season of Pok\u00e9mon’s organized competitive game which joins all players waiting for the resumption of exciting competitions around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the health and safety of our communities remains the most important aspect before the resumption of these live events, the global situation is being continuously monitored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The timing of next season’s Pok\u00e9mon Play<\/strong> events to start will <\/strong>be determined by the health mandates, guidelines, and recommendations provided by the appropriate government agencies in each country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following information provides very important points on how the Championship Series wi<\/strong>ll be worked for the 2021 season in the hope that competitive play can resume in some way over the next 12 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pok\u00e9mon events remain suspended, but plans for the upcoming season anticipate that the Pok\u00e9mon World Championship will take place in the City of London in August 2021 as planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result, the following changes are being made:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 The age division for players in the 2021 season will be the same as the age division used for the 2020 season<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 Junior Division
:Young People Born in 2009 or later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 Senior Division:
Young People born in 2005, 2006, 2007 or 2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 Masters Division
:People born in 2004 or earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 The 2021 World Championship will run for four days, starting from Thursday and ending on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 Championship Points (CP) that players earned during the 2020 season will be transferred in full to the 2021 season. Players will continue to add to that points total all new points they earn during the 2021 season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 There will be two CP qualifying bars during the upcoming World Cup:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Thursday’s Players:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

This day will play all those players who managed to get all the CPs for their ranking during the year 2020. Therefore, players who previously qualified for the 2020 World Cup are already qualified for the 2021 World Cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Friday Players:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

This day will play all those players who will reach the new CP goal set in the 2021 Competitive Game Series, of course, when more information about qualifying events is available. Players who manage to earn all their CPs in this period will be rated during Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 The CP number for new qualifiers will be announced over the next few days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u25b6 Information about “Best Finish Limits” will also be available for the next few days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is only the first update to the 2021 Championship Series. More updates will be provided as more information is confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
